Bike City is located in the heart of Jordaan-district, in the basement of a rebuilt canal house. Off 1938, there used to be a bike shed in this basement where locals used to store their bicycle. Houses in this area are built with narrow and very steep stairways, so parking your bike inside is not the first option.
In 1994, Bike City was established and launched as the friendly bike rental- and repair-shop as it is today.
Bike City is an environment-friendly enterprise. All refuse like: cardboard, metal, rubber, batteries and chemical dump is separated and recycled. Our strife is to keep only products in stock without unnecessary packaging material.
Business hours we are open every day of the week from 9:00 am till 6:00 pm - bike rental counter closes at 5.30 pm.
Exceptions: Queensday April 30st, Christmas and New Years Day we are closed.
