Historic roots
Bike City is located in the heart of the beautiful Jordaan district of Amsterdam, in the basement of a renovated canal house, where as early as 1938, locals stored their bicycles. Houses here have narrow and very steep staircases, so storing your bike indoors has never been an easy option.
A longstanding tradition of good service
Bike City was set up in 1994, and has been providing a reliable and friendly bike rental and repair service ever since.
We care for our customers and the environment
Bike City is an environmental friendly business. We ensure that all our waste is separated and recycled, wherever possible: be it cardboard, metal, rubber, batteries or chemicals. We also aim to minimise packaging materials of products in stock.
Opening hours
We are open every day of the week, 362 days a year, 9:00-18:00.
The bike rental counter closes at 17:30.
We are closed on The Queen's official birthday, (April 30th), Christmas Day and New Year's Day. |
